Da Sa Rang Korean Restaurant
Located above Mc Donald at SS15 branch near Inti College. Not that hard to find. Looks typical Korean Restaurant that you can find in Malaysia. You know the moment you enter the main door, It is a Korean Restaurant.
It was not many people tonight due to raining season, but later in the evening customers start coming in. Students, working adults and maybe people who is on holiday come as well.
Very cute chopstick holder, the cloth material something like silk or similar to that. I hope they wash them or change from time to time.
Korean Restaurant is famous for their side dishes or in Korea they call it “Banchan”. We always love to visit when they give many choices of Banchan. Various Banchan are set in the middle of the table to be shared. At the center of the table is the secondary main course, such as beef or chicken. You can ask for a bowls of cooked rice and soup individually. Banchan are served in small portions, meant to be finished at each meal and are replenished during the meal if not enough. You are allowed to ask for more. So don’t worry, if you like their Kim Chi then go ahead to order some more. Usually in Korea, the more formal the meals are, the more side dishes there will be. Jeolla province of Korea is particularly famous for serving many different varieties of banchan in a single meal.
We ordered TteokBokKi -a famous Korean street Food. It is made from sticky rice with spicy and sweet sauce. For Korean this is their snacks but for others who dont know, we order this as main 😀
I love their Marinated Tongue BBQ, taste super delicious. If you are not use to eating beef Tongue, better don’t order I am afraid you will throw up. But once you try and you like it, 1 portion may not enough.
Marinated Beef is a must dish to order. Tender and juicy meat grilled to perfection. This time they didn’t cook in front of us, they choose to cook at the empty table. I think faster that way.
My favorite is this, Korean Seafood Pancake or Haemul Pajeon, is a widely loved snack in Korea. A combination of seafood, green onions and flavorful batter creates a savory pancake taste. The food we ordered are enough for 2 big eaters, and for 3 person if you’re smaller eater.
